I aim to make therapy feel safe and open. I strive to find the balance between “being in the hard” and “taking a breather” by using humor, kindness, and human connection. I want clients to know they can show up without having to put on a “mask”. I work to collaborate with my clients in order to move towards their goals, while also offering my professional perspective and challenge when needed.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a psychotherapy treatment that is designed to alleviate the distress associated with traumatic memories (EMDR Institute, Inc., 2026). EMDR involves reprocessing memories while also engaging in eye movements or other bilateral stimulation. The intended impact is to lessen the emotional distress of the memories in order to decrease their impact on daily functioning. EMDR can be used to help treat a host of conditions including PTSD, anxiety, and depression.
